For this week, I decided to photograph normal everyday objects. My aim was to display how complex this objects are and how much geometry they have. For Photo 17, I photographed a cd player. I like how something as simple as a cd player has several gears and mechanics to it. I also like the contrast between the reds and the blacks and the grays. One thing that I like to do when I photograph things is to try and find contrast. Contrast in a photograph adds complexity and in some cases, more interest. As for Photo 18, I photographed a guitar. I played round with this idea before and I liked it so I decided to reshoot it. What I did this time was focus on the geometric shapes it makes. I like how acoustic guitars have a almost perfect circle and six strings that come across it. this strings give the impression of straight lines and help add a contrast between the circles and the different colored regions.
