Demi Lovato Neon Lights Tour

Piano Smile (2014)
Singing From the Soul (2014)
Hello everyone! I wanted to welcome you to my new and improved blog! I currently had it closed for updating and happy to say it is now officially back! I have many exciting photos to share! For this week, I wanted to share my Demi Lovato photos I took during the Neon Lights Tour!  The show was a lot of fun with great performances from Demi Lovato and Little Mix! Demi Lovato is an 21 year old singer who has been on the music charts since 2008. She started out acting on Barney and other shows when she was younger. In 2007, she landed her big break when she signed onto Disney Channel's Camp Rock and her own disney TV series Sonny With A Chance. In 2008, she released her first album under Hollywood Records named Don't Forget. Since then, she has released 4 cds and been in 6 soundtracks including a song, Let It Go, in Disney's blockbuster Frozen. Her current cd, Demi, has been tearing up the charts and she embarked on a worldwide tour called the Neon Lights Tour. During her show, I noticed how fierce and determined she was. She was rocking out and delivering killer vocals. She has an incredible range. I also noticed how happy her fans, which is referred to as "Lovatics," make her. She smiled as fans cheered and fans chanted "I love you." Her staging was impressive with many laser lights, neon lights, and fog machines as well as confetti at the end. The staging was designed by her good friend and famous singer, Nick Jonas. Yet despite the cool staging, what really impressed me was her vocals. Each song she sang she delivered with such passion and emotion that everyone in the area could connect. She wasn't gimmicky or fake, simply singing her songs, like I have seen with other performers. I wanted to capture her joy and upbeat energy in my photographs as well as the cool effects present during the show.
On The Edge (2014)
For Piano Smile, I wanted to capture her infectious smile. In this moment, fans were chanting I love yous and it made her stop and smile. Right after this moment, she became more venerable and talked about her struggles and inspiring everyone that life is worth living and no one should tell you otherwise. Singing With the Soul shows how passion and emotionally connected Demi is during her songs. She doesn't simply sing about heartbreak and first loves, but she shows it. She uses the stage and performs. On the Edge shows an instance of her using the stage. In this part of the show, she stands on a platform and the lights become much brighter and she raises as she sings Skyscraper. It was a powerful performance for a powerful song. Neon Confetti shows another way she made use of the stage. At this moment of the show, the show was almost over and confetti flew everywhere. It was a great way to get the crowd pumped and up dancing. Lastly, I wanted to leave you with Portrait. In this photo I wanted to get close to Demi and really let her expression show her determination and brilliance as a performer. Demi Lovato truly understands how to be connected to songs and perform them to crowds who may or may not have experienced what she has. Demi Lovato is a fantastic performer and singer. If you have the chance to go see Demi Lovato's Neon Lights Tour, you should check it out.
