More Jonas Brothers Tour 2013

Together (2013)

For this post, I wanted to share more of my Jonas Brothers concert photographs. For these photos I wanted to capture the boys' showmanship. They were not putting on a show, they were making a show. The concert was more than just simply performing, they set the tone and atmosphere. They sang from the heart and were completely committed to their songs. Each song was beautiful transited to the next. I would have included some Kevin Jonas photos but unforuntatley where I was sitting it was extremely hard to get photos of him, there were too many hands and people in my shots. To begin, for Together, I wanted to capture both the serious side and fun side of the Jonas Brothers. Here Nick Jonas is performing quite seriously while Joe Jonas is out there just smiling and having fun. Throughout the show, both of these sides were shown by each brother. For What I Mean, I wanted to show how deep and lost in the music Nick Jonas can get during his performances. I also really liked the purples and blues lighting on the stage. The lights create a more serious and moody scene. The same type of lighting was used for What Do I Mean To You. WDIMTY is the Jonas Brothers' next planned single so seeing it being performed over a month ago was quite exciting. The song has a dark, edgy rock side to it that will for sure have to do well on the charts. For Nick and Karmin, I wanted to capture Amy Renee from Karmin. During one of the songs, Karmin, which opened for the Jonas Brothers, came back out and sang a few verses with the guys. I like how clear the image came out. I also captured the other singer from Karmin, in Nick Noonan. The two of them, did a stellar job. For Listen, I wanted to once again show the serious side of Joe. What I really like about this photograph is how the lighting illuminates Joe and makes him appear more defined in shape. Seeing him more defined makes the viewer want to pay more attention to him. Lastly, for Melody, I wanted to show the musician side of Nick. Every few songs, he had a different type of guitar he would play and each guitar brought out a different side of Nick. His green SG guitar brought out his edgier side, his black Gibson brought out his   raw musician side and his acoustic one brought out his hard working side. In this case, this electric guitar brought out his mellow, easy going side. Each one of these photographs represent what one would find at a typical Jonas Brothers show; quality showmanship, unique personalities, well-crafted music, and incredible art and passion. The Jonas Brothers are truly one of the best performers and musicians out there.
